Raebareli, April 21: The coronavirus exploded on Tuesday in the Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh due to which a chaos broke out in the district after coming up of 34 positives cases simultaneously. Though, their earlier reports had come negative and on April 4, only two cases were found to be corona positive.
However, preparations to end the two Corona hotspots, made to prevent spread of highly infectious disease, were underway by district administration by not having a single case of Covid-19 for 17 days.
So far, 36 positive cases have been found in Raebareli. Most of them are Jamaatis and had reached here from the Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi, Saharanpur and Basti resulting in complete mayhem broke out in the district.
Those found corona positive are resident of Bachranwa, Qilabazar, Nasirabad, Rohanians and Mianpur area. It is said that there are about 32 Jamaatis, most of them had returned from Delhi’s Nizamuddin Markaz. Though, some of them also participated in the Markaz in Saharanpur and Basti. Some Jamaatis were living in Bachhranwa town in a rented room.
Later, blood samples of those who assisted the Jamaatis were also sent for testing to diagnose by sending them to institutional quarantine.
However, both Jamaatis found positive 17 days ago are being treated in Lucknow. Earlier, a sample of 288 people was sent for testing in which reports of 273 came negative. Only, two people were found positive.
However, the report of 13 people was yet to come. But the report of 34 people found negative earlier has caused much chaos among the authority as they were found Covid-19 positive after 17 days. Those found corona positive on Tuesday were kept at the Quarantine Center at Kripalu Nursing College.
Interestingly, all were to be released today after the completion of the quarantine period.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Sanjay Sharma said that the reports of 34 people have been found positive. All of them are being shifted to the dedicated Covid-19 hospital at Rahania block in Raibareli.
