Lucknow, 12 August: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, intensifying the fight against narco nexus in the state, had recently formed Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF). Now, to take this fight to its conclusion through public awareness, the cooperation of Basic Education Department is being taken. For this, on Monday, 1.40 crore students and teachers of council schools were administered the drug freedom oath.
Students and teachers took oath at 09:00 am.

On Monday, an oath related to ‘drug de-addiction’ was administered in all the council schools. In this oath ceremony held on Monday morning at 09 o’clock, along with about 1.40 crore children of the state, teachers of council schools also took an oath related to ‘drug de-addiction’. During this, students and teachers were sworn in to stay away from drug abuse and never to do drugs.
Formation of Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) to curb drug trade
Meanwhile, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, necessary steps have also been taken for ‘drug free state, strong state’ to reduce drug addiction in Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi has already formed Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) to curb drug trade.

Basic Education Minister (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 1.40 crore students and teachers in all the council schools of the state were administered the oath of drug de-addiction under the drug de-addiction campaign. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is already making efforts in this regard. He has already started this under the ‘Drug Free State-Strong State’ campaign, in which all the departments of the state are playing an active role.
