Lucknow, June 03: Coronavirus active cases are continuously dropping across Uttar Pradesh as in the last 24 hours, 1268 cases have been reported.
On the other hand, a total of 4260 Covid-19 patients went home after recovering, this information was given by Additional Chief Secretary, Information Navneet Sehgal on Thursday.
He told that the triple T model (testing, tracing and treatment) of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was successful in preventing the transmission of deadly virus. UP is the only state in the country which has conducted maximum tests and was successful in controlling corona the fastest.
He further told that there has been a decline of 91.8 percent in a month today as compared to the peak season of 310783 patients as of April 30 across Uttar Pradesh, which has done the highest number of Covid tests in the country. At present 25,546 corona cases are active. Our recovery rate has gone up to 97.4%.
He said that 340411 tests have been conducted here in the last 24 hours. Uttar Pradesh with a population of about 25 crores now has 25546 active cases. At the same time, the recovery rate has been recorded at 97.4 percent.
He said that many states including Delhi, Maharashtra imposed complete lockdown, while only partial corona curfew was imposed in UP. Despite this, death due to infection has been less recorded here.
Sehgal added that the total number of active cases in Jhansi district has come down to 600. Now here too, exemption from corona curfew will be given for five days a week from 07 am to 07 pm.
