New Delhi, July 2: Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned indefinitely on Tuesday after passing a motion of thanks on the President’s address.
Today, the Leader of the House and Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the discussion on the President’s address.
During this, the opposition created a ruckus over not giving time to an MP from Manipur. The Defense Minister proposed condemning the act of the opposition against the noise during the Prime Minister’s address, which was approved by the Home Minister and later the House passed it by voice vote.
Presenting the proposal, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that when the Prime Minister’s address was going on, the way the parliamentary decorum was constantly torn apart by the opposition, I propose that the entire House condemns this act. Home Minister Amit Shah approved the Defense Minister’s proposal. After this, the proposal got the approval of the Lok Sabha by voice vote.
