Deoria, April 15: The police of Gauri Bazaar police station arrested two accused on Tuesday. A video of these people has been circulated on social media, in which these people were seen waving pistol and sword. A pistol of 32 bore with cartridges and a sword have been recovered from them.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikrant Veer said that Operation ‘Talaash’ is being carried out in the district. Under this, a video was spreading rapidly on social media. In this, two youths were waving sword and pistol. This video is of April 12.
SP said that taking cognizance of this, Gauri Bazaar police took action and arrested two accused. They have been identified as Ritesh Yadav and Ajay Rajbhar, residents of Kalaban, Gauri Bazaar. Police have registered a case against the accused under the Arms Act.
