New Delhi, August 15: On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) to the Nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort.

On this occasion, he spoke that the National Digital Health Mission will bring a new revolution. Everyone will be given a health ID card. People’s troubles will be removed with this card. With the help of this card, all the health related information will be available with the help of this card.

“With the help of this card, the work from making prescription to hospital to taking medicine will remove the problems. This card will have the details of all the tests, medication, reports of the patients. They will be able to make the right decision for good health,” PM said.

PM Modi said that the country is developing rapidly in the health sector. In the beginning of the corona period there was only one lab which has now been increased to 1400. The number of first tests was also close to 300, which has now increased to more than 7 lakh tests per day. New AIIMS have been opened. In the last five years, MBBS seats have been increased by more than 45 thousand seats. 1.5 lakh wellness centres in the country have played a big role in dealing with deadly virus.

Plans ready for distribution of vaccine to every home to protect against corona: PM Modi

PM Modi said that the scientists of the country are working hard in preparing the vaccine to protect it from Corona. Currently three vaccines are in development process. The work of all three vaccines is in different stages. As soon as they will get the green signal by scientists, its mass production work will start.

Modi said that the outline of how the vaccine reached every Indian has also been prepared.
