Saharanpur, 26 April: An explosion took place in a firecracker factory in Nihal Khedi village of Deoband police station area of โโSaharanpur district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday which led to killing of three people have who have also been identified.
According to DM Manish Bansal, the deceased have been identified as Rahul Kumar (25) of Fatehpur, Vishal (22) of Gunarsa and Vikas (20) of Jadoda Jat. Many people are injured in the accident, who are being treated in nearby hospitals. Due to the type of explosion, it is feared that the death toll may increase. At present, the injured are being provided better treatment by doctors.
It is noteworthy that an explosion took place in a licensed firecracker factory this morning. Three people lost their lives in the accident and many are fighting a battle between life and death.
Regarding the incident, the relatives of the deceased and the villagers had blocked the Delhi-Dehradun highway alleging that the blasts were carried out as part of a conspiracy.
The administrative officials have calmed the crowd by assuring action and got the blockade cleared.
