Jaipur, April 22: In the name of master plan, the administration has demolished three temples of about 300 years old in Rajgarh of Alwar by running a bulldozer. People angry with the action have filed a complaint against the EO, SDM and Rajgarh MLA of the municipality to register a case in the police station in protest, but no FIR has been registered so far.

In between, politics has also heated up after the demolition of temples in the name of encroachment. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has become an attacker on the Gehlot government, while the state Congress is blaming the BJP board of the local municipality for this.

It is noteworthy that in the Rajgarh area of โ€‹โ€‹Alwar, the process of construction of Gaurav Path and removal of encroachment in the name of master plan is going on. Under this, the demolition of three temples, a large number of shops and houses, which are about 300 years old, are underway.

The administration says that according to the master plan, action has been taken to remove the encroachment in Rajgarh. Over the years there had been a lot of encroachment.

According to the revenue record, there is a road of about sixty feet, which was not even twenty-five feet. Due to this encroachment has been removed from JCB.

Here the chairman of the municipality board said that this action has been taken at the level of administration, while the administration stated that the resolution has been passed at the level of the municipality board. Only then is the encroachment removed.

There is displeasure among the people due to the desecration of the idols of deities; the police forcefully removed the people who had mobilized against it from the site.

The Hindu society has given a complaint to the police, but no FIR has been registered in this case yet. Expressing its protest, the Hindu society has accused Rajgarh MLA Johri Lal Meena, SDM Keshav Kumar Meena and Municipal EO Banwari Lal Meena of conspiracy.

In protest against the action, the Hindu society reached the police station and expressed its anger. In view of the growing controversy, Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam had to intervene. She has assured that she will try to convince the dissidents by meeting them.

Politics has also heated up after the demolition of temples in the name of encroachment. Local Congress MLA Johri Lal Meena said that encroachment has been removed in Rajgarh town. There is a BJP board in the municipality here. That’s why they can’t say much.

Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara retaliated, accusing the BJP of doing politics.

Dotasara said that in 2018, the BJP Mandal President had written a letter to the Collector recommending the removal of this encroachment. There is a BJP board in Rajgarh. It is headed by Satish Guharia. The resolution to remove this encroachment was passed in the board meeting. Only then has this encroachment been removed. Temples are not tampered with in the Congress government; this has been the agenda of the BJP. BJP is trying to spread religious frenzy over this matter.

On the other hand BJP said that it is not right to destroy the temple in the name of development. Congress is doing vendetta politics.

BJP State President Satish Poonia has constituted a five-member committee of the party for factual investigation of the Rajgarh (Alwar) temple case, this committee will go to the spot and prepare a factual report and submit it to the state president. The committee includes Sikar MP Sumedhanand, State Vice President and MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal, Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, Brijkishore Upadhyay and Bhavani Meena.

BJP State President Satish Poonia has said that how can 300 years old temple be encroached. In this way the Chief Minister is taking the politics forward.

BJP MP Dr Kirodi Lal Meena said that it is clear that the Ashok Gehlot government is anti-Hindu. Congress keeps attacking Hindu faith by destroying temples.

In Alwar’s Rajgarh, the city administration demolished a 300-year-old temple under the guise of development. After all, why is the Chief Minister so irritated with Hindus and their faith?
