Gurugram, July 12: A special drive is being carried out for adding and removing names from the voter list. District Election Officer (DEO) Nishant Kumar Yadav has given orders to suspend 35 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for negligence in this campaign. This includes 22 BLOs of Gurgaon Assembly, 7 of Pataudi Assembly, 4 of Sohna Assembly and 2 of Badshahpur Assembly.
As per the guidelines of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Haryana, the BLOs were to complete the work of home to home verification according to their booth by July 4, but 35 BLOs related to the four assembly constituencies have been negligent by not completing the election work on time. In this regard, the concerned SDM had sent a proposal to the District Election Officer for disciplinary action. On the basis of which District Election Officer Nishant Kumar Yadav has taken this action to suspend them.
The District Election Officer said that employees who do not take election work seriously will not be spared. Make sure to strictly follow the instructions of the Election Commission. The Election Commission of India can also terminate the service of such employees.

The BLOs who have been suspended include BLO Santosh of booth number 180 in village Basai in Badshahpur assembly constituency and BLO Sanjulata of booth number 349 in village Tikri. In Sohna assembly constituency, BLO Santara is at booth number 24, BLO Dharampal is at booth number 70, BLO Indu is at booth number 68 and BLO Vikram is at booth number 129, Deepak is at booth number 89 in Pataudi assembly constituency, Geeta Rani is at booth number 92, Ganga is at booth number 94, Geeta is at booth number 109, Pradeep is at booth number 213, Pushpa is at booth number 226 and Kamlesh Devi is at booth number 227, Gudiya Saini is at booth number 14 in Gurgaon assembly constituency, Rekha is at booth number 51, Rashmi is at booth number 57, Anita Kumari is at booth number 58, Ankush Chauhan is at booth number 69, Monika is at booth number 76, Indubala is at booth number 79, Shefali is at booth number 82, Naveen is at booth number 109, Deepa is at booth number 110, Suman is at booth number 121, The names of BLOs include Manita in booth number 125, Poonam in booth number 151, Sunita Rani in booth number 166, Praveen in booth number 176, Kuldeep in booth number 282, Shalu in booth number 314, Rajesh in booth number 322, Neeraj in booth number 324, Wazir Chand in booth number 347, Surjeet in booth number 350 and Sanjay in booth number 351.
