38 people died in Bihar due to lightning in the last two days

Patna, April 10: According to the government data, 38 people have died due to lightning in the last two days in Bihar due to natural calamity. While 13 people died on Wednesday, 25 people died on Friday. The Chief Minister has expressed deep condolences on these deaths.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is deeply saddened by the death of 18 people in Nalanda, 02 in Siwan, 01 in Katihar, 01 in Darbhanga, 01 in Begusarai, 01 in Bhagalpur and 01 in Jehanabad due to severe storm and rain today. The Chief Minister has expressed his deep condolences to the affected families.

The Chief Minister has said that he is with the affected families in this hour of disaster.

The Chief Minister has directed to immediately give an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4 lakhs to the families of all the deceased.

The Chief Minister has appealed to the people to be very cautious during bad weather. In case of bad weather, follow the suggestions issued from time to time by the Disaster Management Department. Stay indoors and stay safe during bad weather.
