Prayagraj, 27 December: The Cyber ​​police team on Friday arrested four cyber crooks who committed fraud in the name of booking facilities and tent city in Maha Kumbh. Three laptops, six pen drives, mobile phones and six ATM cards have been recovered from their possession.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Bharti said that among the arrested accused are Pankaj Kumar, resident of Chorsua village of Giriak police station area in Nalanda district of Bihar, Yash Choubey, resident of Muridpur village of Choubepur police station area of ​​Varanasi district, Ankit Kumar, resident of Chhitampur village and Aman Kumar Sahay, resident of Rasra Khurd Thekma village in Barda police station area of ​​Azamgarh district.
He said that in this regard, on November 22, the police had registered a case in the cyber police station under various sections including IT Act and was investigating the matter. Cyber ​​police station in-charge inspector Rajiv Kumar Tiwari and his team have revealed this fraud by arresting four members of the gang on Friday.
He told that so far, the gang members have defrauded 35 people in the name of booking in the tent city in Kumbh Mela. During the investigation, 9 fake websites have been traced. Legal action is being taken against the gang members and they are being sent to jail.

He told that four more cyber crime cases have been registered on Thursday evening. The gang will be exposed after the investigation.
