Lucknow, 27 January: Om Prakash Arya and three members of his family, who were returning to their home in New Delhi from Mahakumbh of Prayagraj, died in a horrific road accident on Agra Expressway.
The deceased have been identified as Om Prakash Arya, a resident of Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, wife Purnima Singh, age 34, 12-year-old daughter Ahana and four-year-old son Vinayak.
Om Prakash Arya had come from New Delhi to take a bath in the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj with his family in a Hyundai car. While returning from here on Monday morning, his car collided with the divider on the expressway in Fatehabad police station area of ββββAgra district and overturned and fell on the other side. Then the car came under a high-speed truck coming from the front. In this tragic accident, Om Prakash and his family members, who were in the car, died on the spot.
Fatehabad police station of Agra, which reached the spot after getting information about the accident on Agra Expressway, somehow pulled out the bodies of the family members trapped in the car. After this, the policemen took all the bodies to S.N. Hospital for postmortem. A crane was called to remove the debris of the car from the spot.
