5 including a shooter involved in a murder of Bhadohi school principal, held

Bhadohi, January 12: The Police on Sunday solved the principal murder case of Bhadohi. The contract killer with a reward of Rs. 50,000 was nabbed from Delhi airport when he was trying to escape to Mumbai. While his two rewarded associates were arrested in a police encounter. A total of five people have been arrested in the incident.

According to the Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik, tata Safari vehicle and illegal pistol cartridges have also been recovered from the accused involved in the incident. The accused involved in this murder who have been arrested by the police include five people including the former mastermind of the contract killing, the accused of getting the murder done and the person who gave backup to the shooters involved in the incident.

SP apprised that a joint police team of SWAT, Surveillance, formed under the supervision of Inspector-in-Charge Kotwali Bhadohi, with the help of Delhi Crime Branch team, has achieved significant success in arresting the shooter Aamir Khan son of Mohammad Rafiq resident of Shripur police station Raniganj district Pratapgarh (31) years, who committed the incident of supari killing, from near Delhi Airport Delhi.

The arrested shooter told during interrogation that before the incident, the accused had done recce of the village and school of the deceased principal with two different teams.

The arrested shooter told that on October 19, 2024 also they had come to carry out the incident but were not successful. But on the morning of October 21, 2024, a team of shooters on motorcycles, while doing recce at the principal’s house and the other team at the school, stopped the principal’s four-wheeler on the way and carried out the incident.

According to the Superintendent of Police, in order to take revenge for the murder of his father, Saurabh Singh had earlier hatched a conspiracy to kill the principal by giving a contract of murder to his former acquaintance Mohammad Kaleem. The mastermind of the contract killing, Kalim, had called the killers for money. There was talk of giving Rs 2.5 lakh each to the person who fired the shot and the person who stayed with him. The arrested shooter was also paid Rs 1.2 lakh before the murder.

On the morning of October 21, 2024, Yogendra Bahadur Singh (56), Principal of Indra Bahadur National Inter College, Bhadohi, resident of Amilori, Kotwali Police Station, Bhadohi, left his house in a car. He was shot dead by two unknown miscreants riding an apache motorcycle near Basavanpur, about 200 meters from the house. The police had registered a case on the basis of the complaint received from the family regarding the incident.
