Lucknow, July 03: Five more people injured in Hathras Satsang tragedy succumbed. With this, the death toll has risen to 121. The Relief Commissioner’s Office gave this update a while ago. The whole country is mourning the loss of life in the stampede during Bhole Baba’s Satsang 24 hours ago. There

is a graveyard-like silence in Ratibhaanpur Pulrai village of Hathras district 24 hours after the Satsang tragedy. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ratibhaanpur Pulrai village at 11 am today. From here he will leave for Agra. Forensic unit and dog squad are present at the Satsang venue in the village.

Meanwhile, Aligarh ASP City Amrit Jain has said that 38 bodies had arrived in Aligarh. Out of these, 36 have been identified. After post-mortem, the bodies have been sent to their destination. Only two bodies are unidentified.

Hathras District Administration has issued helpline numbers 05722227041 and 05722227042 for the help of common people. The real name of Bhole Baba alias Saakar Vishva Hari is Suraj Pal. He has been a head constable in Uttar Pradesh Police. Also, he was posted in LIU (Local Intelligence Unit) in Etawah about 28 years ago. Currently, he has his own security team like Baba Ram Rahim.

Ambassadors of many countries including Germany, France and China expressed condolences to the victim families on this tragedy. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said in a post on X that he is very saddened by this tragic incident. He has said that he is saddened by this stampede incident. The diplomats who expressed condolences include German Ambassador to India Philip Ackerman, Chinese Ambassador Shu Feihong, French Ambassador to India Thierry Mathou and Israeli Ambassador Naor Gilon.
