Lucknow, 23 March: During checking at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Friday night, the Customs Department arrested 5 passengers with gold and foreign cigarettes.
The Customs Department said on Saturday that intensive checking is being done at the airport in view of the festival of Holi.
On Friday, 600 grams of gold and 1320 cigarettes were seized from five passengers coming from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
Its price has been estimated at Rs 71.03 lakh. The Customs Department is interrogating these people.
