Lucknow, 13 September: Work is underway on 124 projects by the Yogi government for the all-round development of Ayodhya. Of these, 79 projects will be completed by December 15.
State Chief Secretary (CS) RK Tiwari held a meeting in the capital on Monday regarding the development works of Ayodhya and directed to complete all the works on time.
In fact, a high-powered monitoring committee has been constituted for inter-departmental coordination under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to review the development works of Ayodhya.
In the meeting of the same committee held today, Chief Secretary RK Tiwari said that Ayodhya Master Plan Phase One should be finalized at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary said that the Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate, Ayodhya should review the progress of the projects by holding regular meetings with the executive agencies and all the concerned departments should provide fortnightly information and fix the work-wise time line of all the projects. He gave strict instructions to complete all the projects as per the stipulated timetable.
Work underway on 124 projects for the development of Ayodhya
Presenting the development works of Ayodhya in the meeting, Principal Secretary (PS) Housing Deepak Kumar informed that 124 projects worth Rs.20107 crore are going on for the development of Ayodhya, out of which 79 projects will be completed by December 15. These include three of the Housing Development Council, 12 of the Ayodhya Development Authority, 16 of the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation, 20 of the Public Works Department, 14 of the Tourism Department, four of the Culture Department, four of the National Highway Development Authority, three of the Transport Corporation, Medical Health and Family Six of Welfare, One of Diet, Four of Education Department, One of Prisons Department, Three of Bridge Corporation, Three of Police, Two of Higher Education, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Three of Vocational Education and Skill Development, Department of Secondary Education Work is in progress on four projects, one of Technical Education Department, one of Homeopathic Department, one of Electricity Department, four of Mandi Parishad and one each of Sports, AYUSH Department, Youth Welfare, Solar Energy, Airport Authority of India and Railways.
โApart from this, work is in progress on two projects of Charitable Affairs Department, one each of Rural Development Department and Animal Husbandry Department,โ he said.
The Principal Secretary said that the major projects to be completed by December 15 include Community Health Center Sunwa, four-laning of the old road from Maushiwala to Gaddopur, construction of road works in Saketpuri Colony, roads and drains in the streets of 15 wards of Ayodhya. Construction, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Beautification and Art work of 08 Kunds and Ayodhya, Master Plan Phase One are included.
The PS further apprised that besides, 32 KLD capacity FSTP, Animal Birth Control Project, Gaushala Nirman, Solid Waste Treatment Plant Phase One and Rajdwar Park development will also be completed by December 15. Door-to-Door Waste Collection and Transportation, Mechanical Sweeping Off Road and Mechanized Cleaning of Toilets Services, Ayodhya Reorganization Sewerage, Rudauli Drinking Water Scheme, Ayodhya Sewerage Scheme Phase-II, Ayodhya Nagar Sewer Connection Scheme Phase-II, Ayodhya Nagar Ko. Construction of treatment plant, strengthening of Ranopali railway crossing to Vidyakund road, strengthening of NH-27 to Ayodhya main road via Ramghat Digambar Akhara, strengthening of Panchkosi Parikrama Marg from Utaya intersection to Golaghat, Asharfi Bhawan to Media Center link road, Asharfi The works of strengthening the Golaghat Tulsi Udyan road from Bhawan, Tedhi Bazar Asharfi Bhawan to Rajghat, widening and strengthening works from Golaghat intersection to Laxman Fort Ghat will also be completed by December 15.
It was informed in the meeting that the works of new construction from Km 11 of Panchkosi Parikrama Marg to Jhunki Ghat, widening from Asharfi Golaghat to Jhunki Ghat, widening and strengthening of Nayaghat intersection etc. will also be completed by December 15.
Similarly, 12 of Tourism Department, 02 of Culture Department, 01 of NHAI, 02 of Transport Corporation, 05 of Medical and Health, 01 of Diet, 01 of Education Department, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India 01, Vocational Education and Skills Department 03, 04 projects of Secondary Education Department, 01 of Technical Education Department, 1-1 of Homeopathy and Electricity Department, 1-1 projects of Mandi Parishad, Sports, Ayush and Youth Welfare Department will also be completed by 15th December.
In today’s meeting, Commissioner of Infrastructure and Industrial Development Sanjeev Mittal, Additional Chief Secretary Home and Charitable Affairs Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary MSME Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Manoj Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Industrial Development Arvind Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Program Implementation Suresh Chandra, senior administrative officers of all the concerned departments and Divisional Commissioner and District Magistrate Ayodhya and other concerned departmental officers were present through video conferencing.
