Delhi, 14 December: The Lok Sabha Secretariat has taken strict action in response to the recent security breach that occurred in Parliament on Wednesday.

According to sources, eight personnel have been suspended for their negligence in ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

The suspended personnel have been identified as Rampal, Arvind, Vir Das, Ganesh, Anil, Pradeep, Vimitt and Narendra. The incident, which took place on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, saw two individuals named Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D jump into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during Zero Hour.

They released yellow gas from canisters and shouted slogans before being apprehended by the MPs. This event has sparked concern over the vulnerability of Parliament’s security and the need for stricter measures to prevent such breaches in the future.
