Prayagraj, 15 October: The Allahabad High Court has directed to remove 81 identified encroachments from all the roads leading from Vrindavan to Banke Bihari temple. Mathura district administration has submitted a report in the court that in total 81 encroachment sites have been identified on the roads.
On this, the court has directed to remove these encroachments and file an affidavit on the next hearing.
This order was given by the division bench of Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Ram Manohar Narayan Mishra on Tuesday while hearing the PIL filed by Anant Sharma and others regarding the Banke Bihari corridor case.
During the hearing on the PIL, the court said that the Municipal Corporation should also be made a party to the petition. Also, the Municipal Corporation has been directed to cooperate in removing the encroachment.
Meanwhile, the lawyer of Chief Seva Adhikari Ashok Goswami, Shashi Shekhar Mishra, said that the administration has fixed the opening time of the temple to 6 am on Wednesday on the day of Sharad Purnima.
Whereas the court had banned the interference of the administration in the temple management in its previous order. The court has sought a reply on this. The next hearing of the case will be on November 18.
