Lucknow, 03 April: All India Personal Law Board member and religious leader Maulana Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mahali told reporters in Lucknow on Thursday that after the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 was passed in the Rajya Sabha, the All India Personal Law Board is ready to go to court. The Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 will be challenged in court.

Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali said that it is clearly visible that all the political parties of the country have not opposed the Waqf Amendment Bill together. With the passing of the Waqf Amendment Bill, all the Waqf properties in Uttar Pradesh, except for two percent of the Waqf properties, are in danger. The reason for this is that 98 percent of the Waqf properties are not recorded in the revenue books.
