Kashmiri Pandit’s killing: Property of Shopian militant likely to be seized

Shopian, August 17: The process of attaching the assets of the terrorists involved in the murder of Kashmiri Pandit Sunil Kumar has been started in Shopian district. Arms, ammunition, and other suspicious items have been recovered from the terrorist’s house. His family members have already been arrested.

A police official said that terrorist Adil Ahmed Wani, a resident of Kutpora village in Shopian, was involved in the murder of Sunil Kumar of Chotigam village in the district. He said that the process of attaching Adil Wani’s house has been started. The terrorist’s father and three brothers have already been arrested.

According to sources, arms, ammunition, and other suspicious items have been recovered from the terrorist’s house. This house was being used as a hideout for terrorists. The terrorists had escaped from the same house on Wednesday morning by throwing a grenade at the security forces.

On Tuesday, terrorists shot dead Kashmiri Pandit Sunil Kumar in his garden and injured his brother in Chotigam village of Shopian district.
