Lucknow, August 20: The Meteorological Department has predicted light to heavy rains in the entire state till August 21. Thunderstorms and strong winds are expected in some districts.
In fact, the rains that started late in the evening on the occasion of Janmashtami on Friday made the weather pleasant across state. This rain has brought some relief to the farmers. This process of rain will continue till Saturday and Sunday, it is being expected by the Meteorological Department.
According to the state-level forecast of the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur across the state on Saturday. People have also been appealed to be careful about heavy rains in Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Banda, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Jalaun districts.
