New Delhi, 3 October: The Bihar State Election Commission brand ambassador Pankaj Tripathi will don the cap for the Election Commission of India also.
Announcing this in a programme held on Monday, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that actor Pankaj Tripathi establishes a smooth rapport with the citizens. With his style, more citizens of the country will be inspired to vote.
On this occasion, Tripathi expressed his gratitude to the ECI and said that voting is not only the responsibility of the citizens but they also get respect from it. Recalling his childhood days, Pankaj Tripathi said that it is very important for eligible citizens to vote.
He said that in rural areas people go to cast their votes with great enthusiasm, but in cities there is less enthusiasm for voting. If the government will be formed even with the disagreement of some people, then it is better that all the people vote and choose their government, he said.
