Rajsamand, 7 October: The world’s tallest Shiva statue ‘Vishvas Swaroopam’ of 369 feet is to inaugurated on the holy land of Nathdwara in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan from October 29 to November 6.

The trustee of Sant Kripa Sanatan Sansthan Madan Paliwal said that in this great festival of Mahadev, religious, spiritual, cultural events will be celebrated for nine days. Murari Bapu’s nine-day long Ram Katha will add to this festival and audiences from all over the world will be able to witness it, he said.

Paliwal had prepared the dream project of making the world’s largest Shiva idol of Lord Shiva in the Shreeji’s city years ago, which is completed. This wonderful statue of Lord Shiva installed in the city of Shreeji will establish a new dimension in the tourism of the country and Rajasthan along with the attraction of the people.

Built on a hill of 51 bighas, Lord Shiva is seated in the posture of meditation, which is visible from 20 kilometers away. This statue is clearly visible even in the night, it has been decorated with special lights.

The world’s tallest, 369 feet, Shiva idol will be the only statue in the world in which lift, stairs, hall for devotees have been built. There are 4 lifts and three stairs to go inside the statue to the top. The construction of the statue took 10 years and used 3,000 tonnes of steel and iron, 2.5 lakh cubic tonnes of concrete and sand.

The statue has been constructed keeping in mind the sustainability of 250 years. Even a wind blowing at a speed of 250 km will not affect the idol. The wind tunnel test (wind at altitude) of the design of this statue has been done in Australia. To protect it from rain and sun, it has been painted copper by coating it with zinc. The statue has been built by Tatpadam Sansthan.
