Ayodhya, 4 Nov: With a constant influx of worshippers to Ayodhya while the Ram temple is being built, the Uttar Pradesh government has sanctioned three primary routes to the temple site that will allow visitors to receive ‘darshan.’
According to government sources, work on two of these roads is already started. One of these three pathways, dubbed Ram Path, would run for 13 kilometres from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat. The tendering procedure for the road, which will cost ?400 crore, has been concluded.
Locals along the path with houses, businesses, or other institutions would be relocated before construction on the major approach road to the Ram temple begins.
The alternative path, which would be known as the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path, will connect Birla Dharmashala to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple via Sugreev fort. The construction of this road is well underway. While the work was originally expected to be done by November, officials now believe it will continue until December.
“The path would be ready by December this year,” said Navdeep Rinwa, commissioner of Ayodhya Mandal. The third route, via Hanumangarhi, will connect Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to Singar Ghat.
?Work on this road is moving quickly,? according to authorities, who added that most of the land losers on this route have already been compensated. “Work will begin when some other places have been cleared. Once completed, the path will help lure more tourists to the shrine. The Ram Janmabhoomi Path Marg would save worshipers time while also allowing them to enjoy a quick darshan. The continuing construction is sustainable, and repairs will not be required for some time,? according to Kamala Prabhat Singh, an Ayodhya resident.
