Lucknow, 6 November: In a sordid incident, the son of a BLO raped a girl on the pretext of adding her name to the voter’s list in Lucknow recently.
The friend of the accused had recorded the video in a mobile phone, which went viral on social media. On getting information about the video, the girl and her family reached Gosainganj Kotwali. The victim has given a complaint against BLO’s son and his friend. Based on which the police are investigating after registering a case.
As per the details, Nimesh, son of BLO Dharmadevi, raped the girl who had reached the house with her Aaadhar card to get her name registered in the voter?s list. The accused’s accomplice made the video and after a few days it went viral.
According to Inspector-in-Charge Deepak Pandey, the girl told that around 11 am on October 4, she had gone to BLO’s house with Aaadhar card. On knocking the door, Nimesh came out with his friend and asked her to give Aadhaar.
It is alleged that the moment she entered the house, Nimesh came from behind and dragged her into the room and raped her. His friend shot the video. When she tried to make a noise, the accused threatened her to make the video viral.
According to the victim, on October 26, the accused called her again. The video went viral on October 28, when she did not bow to his demand. After that she complained to the police.
