Lucknow, 09 November: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that the UP government is taking care of more than nine lakh cows and efforts are being made to keep Indian breed cows safe.
In the inauguration programme of Shri Krishna Balram Temple, Yogi Adityanath began his address with Hare Krishna Mahamantra. He said, “It was nice to be in Gurukul where Lord Banke Bihari resides in every particle. It is a great achievement that along with Krishna Balaram temple, a dairy plant has also been inaugurated.?
He further said that ISKCON was founded by Prabhupada, a monk, who propogated Sanatan Dharm through Hare Krishna Movement. He spread the Krishna Bhakti movement in the world on the orders of his Guru.
Today crores of followers are associated with the great power of devotion. Prabhupada built 108 temples and today thousands of temples are built. These temples are spreading the devotion of Shri Krishna all over the world. The temple has a milk plant with the idol of Krishna Balarama.
?Improved cows are present in the cowshed. We have to work for the improved cattle of Indian breed. This work is being done in the Veterinary Universit,? said Yogi.
However, he expressed his concern on the cows who roam on the streets like destitute. He said many a time accident occur due to these cows.
The Chief Minister said that the land of Braj is the land of the incarnation of God. From here the saints made a global recognition. It is our responsibility that this earth should become the land of God’s Leela as well as the land of cow service. Not only milk but also CNG is being made from Indian breed bovine. Paint is being made in Badaun. This work needs to be carried forward. Natural farming has to be given priority. He said that today the face of Jawaharlal Bagh has changed due to good governance.
Earlier, CM Yogi inaugurated the temple of Lord Shri Krishna and Balram located in Bhakti Vedanta Gurukul and International School premises. He worshiped here. The CM also inaugurated the dairy plant operated by Gurukul here. The capacity of this dairy plant is 25 thousand liters of milk per day. Here products will be made from cow’s milk.
Mathura MP Hema Malini accompanied Yogi Adityanath. ISKCON International President Gopalkrishna Goswami, Vrindavan ISKCON President Panchagouda Das, MLA Meghshyam Singh, Puran Prakash, Rajesh Chaudhary were also on the stage.
