Bike rider killed in collision between roadways bus and car in Lucknow
Lucknow, June 15: One person was killed when a roadways bus, a car, and a bike collided in the Nigoha police station area of Uttar Pradesh’s capital on Monday; police reached the spot, took the body into custody, and began an investigation into the accident.
The station house officer (SHO) Anuj Kumar Tiwari said that on Monday, a Rae Bareli depot bus traveling from Rae Bareli to Lucknow lost control near Apna Dhaba in the Nigoha area, broke a divider, and entered the opposite lane. During the collision, an oncoming car and bike collided with the bus. The motorcycle was completely damaged, and the bus and car were also damaged.
The motorcycle rider, Pintu, a resident of Choti Kheda village in Rae Bareli district, was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. The other occupants of the vehicle also suffered minor injuries. The police have taken the three vehicles involved in the accident into custody and taken necessary action, sending the body for post-mortem.
