Lucknow, 17 Nov: According to an official announcement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday ordered the construction of court buildings equipped with modern facilities and superior amenities in ten districts. The Chief Minister has directed officials from the Public Works Department and the Planning Department to submit a thorough presentation for the new building construction within 15 days.
According to the statement, the 10 districts where the new court building would be developed are Agra, Auraiya, Hapur, Kaushambi, Mahoba, Bahraich, Chandauli, and Hathras. He also asked authorities to make rigorous security measures in all courts, and he directed the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police in each district to meet with the District Judges on a regular basis.
The District Judge will preside over these sessions, and the presence of the DM and SP/SSP is required, according to the announcement. According to the CM, the court buildings must be both visually beautiful and vertically-orientated in order to preserve land.
Adityanath stated that the structures must be built with the needs of the next 25 to 30 years in mind. According to the release, the new court facilities must contain clean and airy rooms for judges, decent chambers for lawyers, a large library, a restaurant, a parking space, and a seminar hall. The new courthouses should be designed as a model for the state and the nation as a whole, and should be properly equipped.
The Chief Minister also commanded that residential colonies be built for judges, other judicial personnel, and staff. It recommended that all courts and registrar offices be converted to ‘e-offices.’
He has also directed that the land acquisition process be completed as quickly as possible, and that the newly bought property be free of any patches or other difficulties. Adityanath directed authorities to examine court designs in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh and to include beautiful architectural characteristics found everywhere in the country into the design of the new court buildings.
He stated that the design of the new court buildings may be split into three categories: districts with fewer than 25 lakhs, districts with 25-40 lakhs, and districts with 40 to 70 lakhs population.
