New Delhi, 01 December: The Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue collection increased by 11 percent year-on-year to more than Rs 1.45 lakh crore in the month of November. However, the GST collection in the same period last year had crossed Rs 1.31 lakh crore. GST collection remained above Rs 1.40 lakh crore for the ninth consecutive month.
In the data released on Thursday, the Finance Ministry said that the GST revenue collection in the month of November stood at Rs 1,45,867 crore, about 4 percent less than October. The GST collection in October stood at Rs 1.52 lakh crore.
According to the data of the ministry, the gross GST includes Central GST ?25,681 crore, State GST Rs 32,651 crore and Integrated GST share Rs 77,103 crore (including Rs 38,635 crore collected on import of goods) with ?10,433 crore collected from cess and Rs 817 crore cess on imported goods.
