Ghazipur, 03 January: Mukhtar Ansari was to be produced on Tuesday in the MP-MLA Court of Ghazipur but he could not reach. However, Tauqeer, the witness of the Usri incident recorded his statement in this matter.
Today two mafias Mukhtar Ansari and Brijesh Singh were ordered to appear in the court, despite this Ansari did not appear in the court today but the statement of the witness in this case has been recorded. Now the court has postponed the hearing of the matter till January 10.
Mukhtar Ansari has suffered a major setback in Usri Chatti incident. Witness Taukeer refused to recognize Brijesh Singh, who was made the main accused in the Usri Chatti case. The Usri Chatti case was heard in the MP-MLA court of Ghazipur.
During the hearing, the witness Taukeer said that he did not see Anil Singh at the crime scene. Tauqeer had said in the court that he had seen Anil Singh at the spot. Anil Singh is no more. Brijesh Singh seems to be getting relief in this attack from Tauqeer’s testimony.
On 15 July 2001, Mukhtar Ansari’s convoy was attacked at Usri Chatti in Mohammadabad area of Ghazipur, in which Mukhtar’s driver and gunner were killed. In this case, Mukhtar Ansari had made Brijesh Singh the main accused.
