Ghazipur, 10 January: Mafia don Mukhtar Ansari, the litigant in the case of the attack on him in Usri Chatti, could not testify once again in the MP-MLA court here on Tuesday whereas acused Brijesh Singh appeared in the court.
On July 15, 2001, Mukhtar Ansari was attacked with automatic weapons at Usri Chatti. In this case, Mukhtar had nominated Brijesh and Tribhuvan Singh. In the case, the MP-MLA court had ordered the testimony of Mukhtar Ansari. But Mukhtar was not presented. Brijesh is accused in two cases, the Usri incident and the Devkali pump canal robbery case.
