Kejriwal to meet Akhilesh in Lucknow tomorrow over ordinance row

Lucknow, June 6: On Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to meet with Samajwadi Party head Akhilesh Yadav to seek his support against the Centre’s Ordinance on control over administrative services in the national capital.

According to AAP sources, a meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor and the Samajwadi Party’s national president would take place in Lucknow.

On May 23, Kejriwal started on a nationwide tour to rally opposition parties against Ordinance.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and Tejashwi Yadav have all met with AAP national convenor.
