4 dies in explosion in ​​Quetta, more than 12 injured

Islamabad, Aug.16: Four people have died and more than 12 people were injured in a madrasa blast in the ​​Quetta.

The explosion occurred after Friday prayers after which more than 12 people were injured. The injured have been admitted to the civil hospital in Quetta. According to police, the blast was an done through IED  which was hidden under the platform.

TV footage showed the walls and roof have suffered significant damage due to the explosion. This is the fourth blast in Quetta in the last four weeks. Earlier on July 23, three people were killed and 18 were injured in a blast in the Eastern Bypass area of ​​Quetta.

On July 30, there was a blast near the police station, in which five people lost their lives and 30 were injured. The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack. Last week, there was a blast in Mission Road in Quetta, in which one person was killed and 10 others were injured.
