Bengaluru,18 August: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa today announced that the telephone tapping episode in the state during the previous coalition government regime will be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) for inquiry.ย ย ย ย ย
He made the announcement this morning before his Dollars colony’s residence here. It may be recollected here that the chief minister returned late night Yesterday after formally getting a consent for the much awaited expansion of his lone member cabinet since three weeks.
He defended his decision to handover the inquiry to CBI: There had been a demand for CBI inquiry into the issue even by opposition leaders including Siddaramaiah, former chief minister.
