UP Govt launches free-coaching prog for IAS aspirants from low-income families

Lucknow, 11 Aug: The Uttar Pradesh government’s Social Welfare Department provides free coaching for the IAS/PCS (Preliminary) examinations. Students from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes are especially targeted by this program.

An entrance test is required for admission to the coaching program. Candidates who are chosen will have access to thorough UPSC test preparation.

A total of 1050 seats are available through the coaching project, which is dispersed across 8 different facilities situated around the state. Each facility has a specific amount of seats available. Visit the official website: socialwelfareup.upsdc.gov.in for further information and updates.

In Lucknow, the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute’s Partnership Building programme provides free tutoring to 250 applicants.

The Adarsh Pre-Training Centre in Aliganj in Lucknow has 150 seats reserved solely for female candidates. Moving on to Ghaziabad, the IAS/PCS Coaching Centre in Hapur has 200 seats available, while the Sant Ravidas IAS/PCS Coaching Centre in Varanasi has 100. Dr. BR Ambedkar Coaching in Agra and Aligarh both have 100 seats. The Prayagraj Centre has 50 seats, whereas the Gorakhpur Centre has 100.

The Uttar Pradesh Government’s Sanskrit Sansthanam will also offer tutoring. These free coaching courses would only be accessible in Lucknow. Aspiring candidates can register for these classes on the official website upsanskritsansthanam.in until August 31. The coaching programme will be offered both online and offline.
