Actress Jacqueline Fernandez allowed to travel abroad sans court’s nod

New Delhi, 16 August: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has got a big relief in the 200 crore money laundering case involving Thug Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The Patiala House Court has amended the bail conditions for Jacqueline Fernandes.

Jacqueline will not need to get permission from the court to go abroad. The court granted bail to Jacqueline Fernandez on November 15, 2022.

While granting bail, the court placed a condition that Jacqueline could not go out of the country without the permission of the court. After this, Jacqueline demanded a change in this bail condition.

The ED filed a supplementary charge sheet against Jacqueline Fernandez on August 17, 2022, on which the court took cognizance on August 31, 2022. In April 2025, the ED seized Jacqueline’s property worth Rs 7 crore in this case.

According to the ED’s charge sheet, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, the main accused in the case, had given gifts worth more than Rs 5 crore (71 lakh). Sukesh used to deliver gifts to Jacqueline through his associate, Pinky Irani. These gifts also include a horse worth Rs 52 lakh and a Parsi cat worth Rs 9 lakh.
