Lucknow: Bangladeshi citizen staying illegally in UP for decades, sent to jail

Lucknow, 24 Aug: A sensational case has come to the fore of a Bangladeshi citizen secretly coming to India and then claiming himself as an Indian citizen by collecting fake documents. The son and daughter of this Bangladeshi citizen are also claiming to be Indian citizens in the same way.

The son of this person, who was caught by the police, has taken admission in AMU, while the daughter is studying in Shaheenbagh.

This case is of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. Here the police have arrested Idris, a Bangladeshi citizen who was hiding his identity on Thursday. Idris came to India from Bangladesh 33 years ago. First he was living in Kolkata and then in Saharanpur. In later years, he had established his permanent position in Bulandshahr.

At the same time, Bulandshahr SSP Shlok Kumar told reporters that a Bangladeshi man named Idris has been arrested by the police. At present the person is being sent to jail. At the same time, information has been given to all the investigating agencies. Subsequently, all the investigating agencies are currently interrogating Idris.

During interrogation, it has come to know that Idris was living in Bulandshahr since 1990. Idreesh had settled his entire family in Bulandshahr and fake documents were also prepared. His son studies in AMU and daughter in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh.
