Shahrukh Khan pays obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi temple 2nd time in 9 months, prays for Jawan’s success

Jammu, 30 August: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan offered prayers at the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi situated on the Trikuta hills in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the release of his much-awaited film Jawan. The 58-year-old actor reached the temple late on Tuesday night to pay obeisance.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan reached Base Camp Katra on Tuesday evening and used the new Tarakote Marg to reach the temple late at night. He worshiped in the temple of Mata and immediately left.

In a brief video that has gone viral on social media, the actor is seen wearing a hooded blue jacket at the temple with his face completely covered. Vaishno Devi Shrine Board officials, some policemen and personal staff of the superstar can be seen in the video.

This is Shahrukh’s second Vaishno Devi visit in nine months. The actor had earlier visited Mata Vaishno Devi temple in December 2022, a month before the release of his blockbuster hit Pathan.

Jaavan is a high-octane action thriller film directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee. It is scheduled to hit the theaters on September 7.
