Modi govt to celebrate ‘Krishi Samridhi Mahotsav’ in month of October

New Delhi, September 12: The Central Government will celebrate ‘Krishi Samriddhi Mahotsav’ in the month of October. Through the festival, the farmer welfare works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be taken to the people. union Chemicals and Fertiliser Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya gave this information today.

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya interacted with farmers and centre operators at Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendras through video conferencing on Tuesday. During the dialogue, he talked to the farmers about the benefits of Nano Urea and Nano DAP and urged that the use of organic fertilisers be promoted.

He said that Kisan Samriddhi Kendras have been developed as a one-stop-shop model. He expressed happiness that, with this, farmers have started getting all the facilities related to agriculture under one roof.

In his address, he gave information about the farmer-friendly work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last nine years. He said that the government increased the MSP rates and did not allow urea prices to increase even in adverse circumstances.

The union Minister assured that the government will not allow farmers’ urea to be diverted to any company. The government is making an effective policy. Under this, strict steps will be taken by adopting the policy of zero tolerance.
