New Delhi, 20 September (HS): The Election Commission has taken the help of famous comics characters Chacha Chaudhary and Sabu to motivate the youth and future voters.

The Commission has released a 62-page digital copy of the comic book ‘Chacha Chaudhary and Election Dangal’.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Anup Chandra Pandey and Arun Goyal, today launched the comic ‘Chacha Choudhary and Election Dangal’, a joint initiative of ECI and Pran Comics.

With this, Chacha Chaudhary, Sabu, Raka, Dhamaka Singh, Billu, and other comic characters will now make children aware of elections.

The comic book has action and adventure as well as a social message about voting. It consists of ten episodic stories covering various topics and a quiz on voter awareness by the Election Commission of India.

In the new voter registration story, Chacha Chaudhary guides Billu, who has recently attained voting age, through the voter registration process.

Chacha Chaudhary inspires everyone to become smart voters like him through various apps developed by ECI, such as the Know Your Candidate App, CVIGIL App, Voter Turnout App, PWD App, and Candidate App. Chacha Chaudhary and Bini inspire our women voters to come forward and vote fearlessly.

A humorous story inspires a third gender voter awareness campaign about their equal voting rights. Chacha Chaudhary explains to Sabu and Bini why everyone should vote and that every vote counts.

Like many first-time voters, Billu is also very excited to cast his first vote. Uncle Choudhary told him about the various IDs to choose from for voting. Chacha Ji helps an elderly voter vote by postal vote.
