Love Jihad case surfaces in Lucknow after Muslim man absconds with Hindu teenage girl

Lucknow, 20 September: The case of love jihad has come to light in Mohanlalganj police station area. The victim’s family lodged a complaint in the police station and said that the Muslim youth had tricked their daughter and taken her away with him.

Police registered a case and traced the calls of both. The location of the accused youth was found in Kolkata and the location of the girl was found in Delhi.

DCP South Vineet Jaiswal said that an FIR was registered two days ago in Mohanlalganj police station. The Muslim youth living in front of the house has been accused of abducting the girl.

The girl’s family has told that their daughter studies in tenth class. She is the only one among two sisters. One day everyone was surprised when they saw him offering Namaz. I explained a lot to the girl but instead the girl starts telling details about the Muslim religion to her family members.

On September 17, his daughter suddenly disappeared somewhere and did not return. When the family members searched the girl’s room, books and letters of Muslim religion were found in her school bag. It also contained love letters for a boy named Aman.

When the family members inquired about the matter, they found that a few days ago a Muslim boy had come to the area, who told that his name was Aman. She fears that the same boy has tricked her daughter into converting to Muslim religion. The young man has taken her away with him.

DCP said that a team is engaged to investigate the entire matter. The youth’s location has been found in West Bengal for the last one and a half month and the girl’s location has been found in Delhi. The girl will be brought safely to Lucknow and further action will be taken based on her statement.
