New Delhi, 3 October: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in many states of North India including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and neighboring country Nepal on Tuesday afternoon.
The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 6.2 on the Richter scale. Buildings were seen shaking due to the earthquake all over North India. At about 2:51 pm, the earth was felt shaking. The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be in Nepal.
The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 5 km underground.
Till the time of writing the news, there is no information about loss of life or property due to the earthquake, but people were definitely seen in panic during the strong tremors of the earthquake in Delhi NCR and neighboring states.
As soon as the tremors of the earthquake were felt, people came out of their homes and offices. Along with Delhi NCR, strong tremors were also felt in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
