Nestle India’s profit increases by 37.28% to Rs 908.08 crore in July-September quarter

New Delhi, 19 October: Nestle India Limited has announced the results for the second quarter (July-September) of the current financial year 2023-24.

The net profit of Nestle India Limited, which makes daily use items like Maggi and coffee, increased by 37.28 percent to Rs 908.08 crore in July-September. The company had made a profit of Rs 661.46 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

Nestle India Limited told the stock market on Thursday that its profit in the July-September quarter increased by 37.28 percent to Rs 908.08 crore.

The company’s net sales during this period increased by 9.43 per cent to Rs 5,009.52 crore, compared to Rs 4,577.44 crore in the same period of the last financial year.

However, total expenditure increased by 5.92 per cent to Rs 3,954.49 crore in the July-September quarter from Rs 3,733.12 crore in the corresponding period of the last financial year.

According to the company, Nestle India’s domestic sales increased by 10.33 percent to Rs 4,823.72 crore, which was Rs 4,371.99 crore in the July-September quarter of the financial year 2022-23.

However, its exports declined by 9.56 per cent to Rs 185.80 crore from Rs 205.45 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

Apart from this, operating income increased by 9.45 percent to Rs 5,036.82 crore in the July-September quarter.
