New Delhi, Sep 07 : In the last phase of Chandrayaan-2, contact with India’s moon lander Vikram was lost when it was moving towards the lunar surface in the early hours of Saturday. This has increased the suspense on Chandrayaan-2 mission costing Rs 978 crore. Despite this, congratulations are being received on this space agency of India. Everyone has expressed pride in its achievements.
President Ram Nath Kovind said on Saturday that the ISRO team demonstrated exemplary commitment and courage regarding the Chandrayaan-2 mission. The President tweeted, “The country is proud of ISRO. We all hope for the best”. Contact with India’s moon lander Vikram was lost when it was moving towards the lunar surface in the early hours of Saturday.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged the ISRO scientists and said that you have done a very good job. He said that there will be ups and downs in life and this journey will continue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “When the mission is big, one should dare to overcome despair. I congratulate you all very much. You have done a great service to the human race of the country.”
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi congratulated the space agency for the magnificent work and said that it is an inspiration for every Indian. Rahul tweeted, “Congratulations to ISRO’s team on the Chandrayaan-2 Moon mission for the magnificent work. Your passion and dedication is an inspiration for every Indian.” Appreciating the efforts of ISRO team in bringing Vikram closer to the lunar surface, Rahul said, “Your work will not go in vain. It has laid the foundation for many unmatched and ambitious Indian space missions.”
ISRO scientist Deviprasad Karnik said that the data is being analyzed. We do not have any results yet. It takes time. We are not sure that something like this should have happened.
While congratulating ISRO, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, hearty congratulations to our scientists. Your work and vast efforts make us proud. India salutes you. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said something similar. She wrote in the tweet, we are with you, ISRO. You have brought the nation, its young minds and all together to realize its achievements in space. you will succeed one day definately.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that every Indian is proud of ISRO’s efforts to bring Chandrayaan-2 closer to the lunar surface. A few minutes after ISRO Center lost contact with lander Vikram, Shah tweeted, “Every Indian is proud of ISRO’s achievement so far with Chandrayaan-2.” He said, “India is with our committed and hard working scientists of ISRO. My best wishes for the future journey.”
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar wrote in his message, there is no failure, only temporary obstacles to the achievements of our goals. We are proud of every ISRO scientist. We are all with you and hope for the best for the future. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, we are proud of Indian scientists, their hard work, intelligence and vision. You are the source of our constant inspiration. The whole country stands with all of you.
Union Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Saturday that ISRO’s effort on Chandrayaan-2 was a momentous moment for the whole country. Harshvardhan tweeted, “Dear ISRO scientist India is proud of you. You gave your best for Chandrayaan-2.” He said that there is no comparison to your courage. I am reminded of Atal ji’s poem- ’I will not give up, I will not give up.’ He said that we are confident that in the future our scientists will fulfill this mission.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that even after the loss of contact with Vikram Lander, the scientists of ISRO in Chandrayaan-2 Moon mission did excellent work. Kejriwal said, “We are proud of our scientists. They have created history. There is no need to be disappointed. Our scientists have done excellent work. Jai Hind.”
