Maharashtra govt announces monetary aid of โ‚น 10 lakh to the family of ‘Agniveer’ Akshay Gavate

Maharashtra Mumbai, 26 October: Expressing grief over the demise of ‘Agniveer’ Akshay Gavate, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to his family. ‘

Agniveer’ Akshay Gavate was a resident of Pimpalgaon Sarai village in Buldhana district.

Akshay Gavate joined the Indian Army as Agniveer on December 30, 2022. He was on duty in Siachen.

According to the information received from the District Military Office, Akshay was admitted to the Sainik Hospital when his health deteriorated.

However, he died of a heart attack in the hospital. Akshay was the only child of his parents.

He has a younger sister and his parents are farmers. With hard work and determination, Akshay joined the army as Agniveer. There is a sad atmosphere in Buldhana district due to Akshay’s death.
