Bengaluru,10 September: The officials of Enforcement Directorate(ED) department have been learnt to have seized documents pertaining to the Gaddikeri Solar Power Plant in the jurisdiction of Hagaribommanahalli Taluka in Ballari district.
The solar park is spread in a total area of 1,950 acres and the former Power Minister in the previous coalition government is said to have 60 percent stakes on fictitious names in the said venture.
The intention of the raids on the power plant is attributed to taking over of the fraudulent company formed on dubious claims.
It may be recollected here that the ED officials had earlier raided the power plant on 06 September on reliable information of the former power minister being involved in setting up of the same.
The same officials have now seized documents relating to the setting up of the plant and are scrutinising the official records.
DK Shivakumar, once a troubleshooter of the Congress party is now in deep trouble after getting embroiled in several offences related to Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate stipulations.
He is already under the custody of ED for a week and it looks more trouble is in waiting for the Man Friday of the Congress party.
