Period of e-auction of gifts received by PM Modi extended till Nov 15

New Delhi, 01 November: The last date for e-auction of gifts given to the Prime Minister has been extended and people can participate in the e-auction of these gifts till November 15, and make their favorite souvenirs by bidding on them.

Earlier its last date was kept as October 31.

The Culture Ministry said on Wednesday that this e-auction has a unique collection of artifacts showcasing our rich heritage. The e-auction started on October 02, the last date of which has now been extended till November 15.

This e-auction is the 5th edition of the series of successful auctions, the first edition of which was held in January 2019.

It is noteworthy that in the last 4 editions, more than 7000 items were put up for e-auction and this time there are 912 items for e-auction.

This major initiative of the Central Government is dedicated to conserving, and restoring the National River Ganga and promoting its sensitive ecosystem. The money received through this auction will be used to contribute to this great cause.
