Indian Army successfully tests BrahMos supersonic cruise missile

New Delhi, 03 November: The Indian Army on Friday successfully test fired the new range BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The extended range BrahMos can hit targets up to 450 km.

This successful test was conducted by the BrahMos Missile Regiment of the Army with pin point accuracy.

For this, a target was set on another island, which the missile hit accurately. With this successful missile test, another achievement has been added to the name of the Indian Army. Also, India has become stronger for the enemies.

Earlier on October 10, the Indian Army covered 450 km. It had tested a version of the BrahMos that could hit targets at ranges of 100 or more. The test conducted today suggested a no-fly zone in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Due to India’s continuous successful tests, the problems of the opponents are increasing.

The land attack version of the world’s fastest BrahMos supersonic cruise missile was first tested by the Indian Army on November 24, 2020, from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Land-launched, ship-launched, submarine-launched air-launched versions of BrahMos have been tested.

BrahMos land-attack missile has been deployed in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh against China. Some Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter aircraft armed with BrahMos missiles are deployed at the airbase close to the Line of Actual Control.

BrahMos, developed by the joint effort of India and Russia, is the most modern missile system ever, which has made India a leader in missile technology. Range of BrahMos missile is 290 km. Increase from to 450 km. Has been increased to 1,000 km. Efforts are being made to increase the range.
