‘Akshat'(sacred rice)’Kalash’ leaves Ayodhya for 5 lakh temples across country

Ayodhya, 05 November: Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust organized “Poojit Akshat Kalash Distribution Program” on Sunday in view of the installation of Ramlala in the Janmabhoomi temple.

After the puja, selected 101 workers of the country accepted the Akshat (sacred rice) Kalash and left for their respective states with it.

Five kilos of Akshat filled in each brass Kalash will first be delivered to five lakh temples situated in India. Then scared rice will be delivered from door to door as an invitation to visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya.

According to Tirtha Kshetra Trust, five kilos of worshiped Akshat filled in a brass ‘Kalash’ is to be distributed to every house in every village of the country. Through this, devotees will be invited to have ‘darshan’ of Ramlala (infant form of Lord Ram) in the new Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Selected workers from almost all the states of the country were invited to the program organized near Sugriva Fort in the Shri Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya on Kartik Krishna Paksha (05 November). These were handed over to the worshiped brass pot filled with Akshat.
