New Delhi, Sep 13 : Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced to implement the Odd-Even Returns scheme again. This rule will be applicable from November 4 to 15. CM Kejriwal said that in the month of November, stubble is lit in the surrounding states of Delhi, due to which Delhi becomes a gas chamber. Therefore, it has been decided to implement the Odd-Even formula once again.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced 7 plans to free the capital from a press conference. Under this, Kejriwal announced pollution-free Diwali, odd-even policy, distribution of pollution masks, prohibition on burning of straw and garbage, hotspot action plans, dust pollution control and Delhi Tree Challenge programs.
Kejriwal also appealed to public for cracker-free Diwali CM of Delhi. He appealed to the people that the government would organize a laser show on Chhoti Diwali. In this program, the whole of Delhi will celebrate Diwali together. Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘Many decisions have been taken to reduce pollution. A campaign will be launched in schools to make people aware on pollution. A long campaign will also be undertaken to plant trees, in which home delivery of trees will be done.
CM Kejriwal said that electric vehicle policy will be implemented in Delhi. This will be the best electric vehicle policy in the country. A fleet of 1,000 electric buses is about to land soon. After studying their functioning and effects, a decision will be taken regarding electric vehicles. In the coming time all the bus stands will be replaced and modern facilities will be provided. At the stand, you will be able to know the arrival status of every bus. This will increase the use of buses.
Kejriwal said that we sought suggestions from the public and discussed it with experts. On Diwali there is more smoke due to firecrackers, in such an appeal to the people of Delhi, Kejriwal said that do not burn firecrackers, this is also the order of the Supreme Court.
Arvind Kejriwal said that after nearly 1200 e-mails and consultations from several experts, the government has planned to deal with Delhi’s pollution.
